    Mailsort 1400 Mailsort 1400 is for sorting letters, large letters, A3 packets or packets. It is the most commonly used Mailsort service. Minimum requirements are 4000 items for letters or 1000 items for the other formats.

    Mailsort 700 Mailsort 700 is for sorting letters of 100g or less with a minimum of 10,000 items. The letters must have a Customer Barcode (CBC) applied and special size and design criteria apply.

Mailsort Online produces the full code needed to print the barcode using the
barcode font availabe from the Royal Mail( Including dps and checkdigit).
It does so by allocating an actual or default DPS by matching against the PIF database,
which is updated quarterly. The user must ensure that all other requirements are met.

    Mailsort 120 Mailsort 120 is for sorting letters of 100g or less with a minimum of 4000 items The letters must have either a Customer Barcode (CBC) applied, or use an OCR font. Special design and QA criteria apply. For the CBC service Mailsort Online allocates an actual or default DPS by matching against the PIF database, which is updated quarterly. The user must ensure that all other requirements are met.

    Walksort Walksort is the Royal Mail service that offers an alternative to Mailsort, where a greater
level of sortation is performed resulting in higher discounts. Walksort is for mailings within
localised regions. You can also use this service for Walksort Penetration checking.

    Presstream The processing for Presstream is the same as for Mailsort 1400, but the service is exclusively for publications. Minimum requirement is 1000 items.

    International Bulk Mail International Bulk Mail is for sorting standard Mailsort 1400 and Presstream where a number of international addresses are included, which are sorted by country.

    Mixed Weights Mailsort 1400 Mixed weights is for mailing lists that include items of different weights. The list must include a column that contains the actual item weight for each item, or a weight band code representing the item weight.

    Mailsort Light Mailsort Light items are typically teasers or reminders added to a main marketing campaign. Mail items must comply with certain specifications and weigh less than 15g.
Savings are £45 per 1000 items plus on top of the normal mailsort discounts.
